  • 2. NCERT textbooks is the most important part
  • 3. Focus on numerical and name reactions
  • 4. Writing skills are very important
  • 5. Preparation of tail chapters
  • 6. Self-evaluation
  • 7. Time management
  • CONCLUSION

Previously, school and college education was sufficient to pass any competitive exam, but things have changed. Self-study and NEET preparation are becoming inseparable. If students’ hard effort is crucial, then so is studying with the proper skills and attitude. This fierce rivalry has created a need for NEET Coaching programs that pay close attention to students and thoroughly prepare them for tests. These approaches are difficult to grasp on your own, which is why NEET tutoring is so important in passing the NEET examinations.

NEET is a national-level examination administered by the NTA. Candidates seeking admission to medical programs must pass the entrance exam. NEET questions are solely from disciplines like physics, chemistry, zoology, and botany. Each topic portion has 180 questions worth 720 points. The NEET exam papers are intermediate-level oriented, hence reviewing 11th and 12th class Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany books that match the CBSE Syllabus is essential. The NEET Exam also has a negative marking system. Every year, an increasing number of people apply for the NEET Exam to pursue a career in medical science.

The volume of questions may be daunting at first, so begin with chapters that bear the most weightage under different divisions.

Chemistry is divided into 3 parts:

  1. Physical Chemistry – If a student has a high mathematical calculation competence and formula application talent, he or she will have an advantage when studying Physical Chemistry. This category includes chapters such as electrochemistry, chemical kinetics, solutions, the solid-state, and surface chemistry. This comprises 23 marks and accounts for 33% of the total weightage of the paper.
  2. Organic Chemistry – The great bulk of the chemicals we see around us are dealt with by organic chemistry. If students have mastered the fundamentals of organic chemistry, they should be able to ace this section with complete concentration and hard effort. Organic chemistry is worth 28 points on the board test. These subjects mostly include reactions, IUPAC nomenclature of compounds, and the use of various reagents to test for the presence of compounds.
  3. Inorganic Chemistry – This is regarded as a challenging aspect of class 12 chemistry. Students must memorize the periodic table and understand the characteristics of the elements p-Block, d-Block, and f-Block. Since the questions on the examinations are primarily from the NCERT Class 12 Chemistry textbook, students must practice the chapter’s exercise problems. Inorganic chemistry is worth 19 points on the exam.

TIPS TO DO WELL IN CHEMISTRY-

1. Solve previous years’ papers

Examiners follow a pattern of recurrence for particular crucial issues over several years, which is why reviewing prior years’ papers is critical.

While you’re at it, make a note of the crucial portions and recurrent subjects so you may go over them one day before your exam.

2. NCERT textbooks is the most important part

A significant portion of the CBSE exam papers contains questions and themes from Class 12 Chemistry NCERT textbooks. To ace your Chemistry paper, go through all of the subjects, including diagrams and graphs, before moving on to solved examples and practice questions.

While doing so, continue to mark the key and tough questions, and maintain a reference book alongside your Class 12 Chemistry NCERT Books for a fast explanation on complicated themes.

3. Focus on numerical and name reactions

When taking any exam, time is a crucial restriction. While answering a descriptive question may appear possible at the time, it not only takes a long time, but it also does not guarantee full marks in the end because you can always miss out on some keywords or significant points while compromising on other answers.

As a result, it is prudent to:

  • Practice as many numerical as possible from chapters like ‘Electrochemistry’
  • Concentrate on name reactions from Organic Chemistry
  • Highlight the product, properties, and anomalous behaviour in chapters like ‘p-Block Elements’ from Inorganic Chemistry
  • Pay attention to name reactions like Williamson, Wolff-Kishner, and so on

4. Writing skills are very important

There is always a lot of stuff to write while staying inside the time constraints. Writing and solving equations not only improves your speed and confidence but also helps you comprehend the keywords and highlights that should be included in a solution.

In Organic Chemistry, providing the names of reactants and products boosts the solution’s believability. A student’s ability to produce neat work is a non-negotiable advantage.

Always strive to offer extensive and informative responses in points, followed by captioned visuals that work as visual assistance.

A comparison analysis, similarly, should be given in the tabular form. These minor details may help your answer script stand out from the crowd.

5. Preparation of tail chapters

‘Biomolecules,’ ‘Polymers,’ and ‘Chemistry in everyday life’ have frequently been recognized as leftover chapters containing 10 marks that the majority of students ignore.

These three chapters, on the other hand, have the potential to be very high scores. Students can create brief notes from these chapters in a tabular format and revisit them at any moment throughout the last week of the test, without compromising time committed to more significant and complicated topics.

6. Self-evaluation

Anxiety that develops when preparing for and studying for a test is an unavoidable aspect of the process.

It is normal to be annoyed by your lack of preparation or unable to accelerate your learning pace, but you cannot make yourself feel too terrible about it. Instead of feeling sorry for yourself, recognize your deficiencies and commit more effort to address them.

7. Time management

The reading time is the most important and must be spent wisely. If you are stuck on a question, give yourself some breathing room and keep going.

A few experts have also encouraged students to delay Organic Chemistry questions till the end because they are more complicated than Inorganic and Physical Chemistry.

CONCLUSION

Chemistry is an essential subject for students in the science stream in CBSE Class 12. However, these kids must put in a lot of effort throughout the year and practice a lot before the board test. Simply studying for a few months towards the end will not provide any results. Students must study Chemistry with complete focus and consistency from the start of the academic year. Additionally, joining an O level chemistry tuition class greatly benefits a student. This allows them to get a thorough review of what they’ve learned in class and pre-learn what’s about to be taught in class before a topic begins. Students are also more motivated to do their homework with the guidance of a tutor. Here are some pointers to assist students to prepare for the CBSE Class 12 Chemistry Board Exams.

This subject is also important in the competitive test. As a result, studying for the board test will assist pupils in performing well in competitive examinations as well. What they require is consistent practice and a solid grasp of the chapters. Students will learn how to prepare for the CBSE Class 12 Chemistry Exam by reading this article, and they will then be able to arrange their studies properly.
